The time has come...
Well, as Ms. Burnett used to say, I'm so glad we had this time together.
I had a few ideas for a grand finale but they've sorta failed to materialize. But in these few remaining days I thought I'd draw attention to a couple of memorable posts from the almost-a-year past.
There's a picture of a kid on buzz that just cracks me up every time I see it. Not in a 'laughing-at' kinda way, but in a 'i LOVE this kid!' kinda way. I think his momma's posted more pics of him in costume than anyone else. If I were a kid (and I once was...[truth is, I tried to MAKE this costume myself when I was 8 years old using lots and lots of PAPER]), THIS is the kid I'd wanna be.
Also...I did want to point out a post (by another buzzer) that I remembered ['remember' is the key word] as being my favorite. But the funny thing is, as I browsed the hallowed pages of buzz to locate the post, I discovered that I had, in fact, fused TWO seperate posts into my memory as ONE. To explain the significance of such a mental error would require more characters than Buzz allows. So, lemme just say that the fact that I remembered *two* as *one* is exactly why I luv these posts. So here they BOTH are .
And I suppose I shouldn't just mooch off of the work of other Buzznetters in this, my last, post. So lemme lay down what the original Dippermouth, Mr. Louis Armstrong, would have called "one of the good old, good ones." Here's a post from WAY back, the one that began my spiral into buzznet addiction. Special nod to Sez, btw, for feeding the fire. It's an early ramble of the dip on one of Sez's (many) fantastic photos and which, oddly, doesn't read nearly as FUNNY as I remember! HAR! Ah, well. Consider all of the above my sign-in-the-woods to you people. HUGS for everybody.
And as that first [not to mention this LAST] long winded remark on Sez's blog indicates, I have trouble limiting my commenting. That's why I'm going cold turkey! No more buzz. It's been fun but I can't stop commenting. I can't sto---

dipper: seriously... i can't tell you what it means to me that you loved those pics so much. well, i can tell you:
the whole reason i ever post pictures (which is often different from the reason i TAKE them) is because there is something i need for someone anyone to witness) and you did. sometimes i feel really silly or stupid after i post really meaningful things - knowing they are only really meaningful to me. and it always truly catches me off guard when they make sense to someone else.
so, thank you. for all your words. you crack me up and i only wish i had known you better. or longer. or something...
and sorry i alomost had to beat you up -- that was fuuny hahahahaha
